A self made book containing 14 Original watercolors

This hand-bound booklet consists of individual canvases made from 100% linen fabric. Each page was cut, prepared, and bound by hand. The surfaces are worked with watercolor and form a continuous visual sequence. 
 
The series is based on a performance documented in 2019. After four years of research and reflection, this experience was translated into a painterly form. In an unfamiliar, empty space, I wrapped my body in black threads, creating a situation focused on confrontation and self-observation. 
 
The process centered on translating emerging words and sensations into a visual structure of form, color, and rhythm. Through this, a layered emotional tension became visible, moving between vulnerability and closeness, resistance and surrender. The resulting images form a narrative contained within the book format. 
 
The work moves between documentation and transformation and reflects on the relationship between body, memory, and emotional states.
